This book felt more like women’s fiction with a romance subplot; the writing was great, but I wanted more relationship development with the main couple.

I wish I could say I liked this one, but I was so bored. It might not be a bad book, but it definitely wasn’t for me.

I thought this would be my favorite romance of the year — unfortunately, all the memes and icky sex scenes (or rather, the heroine’s dialogue during sex scenes), ruined it for me.

A monster romance that could have been great, but resorted to too much smut in the second part and ended up being too long.
